Hof & Reid, LLC is a personal injury law firm in Bethlehem, PA, dedicated to providing exceptional legal representation to our clients. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our team and contribute to the success of our personal injury litigation practice.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Litigation Paralegal to support our attorneys in all aspects of the litigation process, from initial case intake to trial preparation and beyond. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and possess strong communication and analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Manage and organize all aspects of litigation cases, including case files, documents, and deadlines.
- Document Review and Organization: Review and organize large volumes of documents, including medical records.
- Discovery: Assist in the preparation and handling of discovery requests and responses.
- Trial Preparation: Prepare exhibits, witness statements, and other trial materials.
- Court Filing: Prepare and file court documents.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and other parties.
Qualifications:
- Education: Paralegal certificate or related degree preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as a paralegal in a litigation setting.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe (Word, Excel, PDF)
- Experience as a Dictaphone typist or similar transcription role
- Typing speed of 60-70 words per minute
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
