Customer Relations & Compliance Coordinator.
Monday - Friday 8 Hour Shift.
Family owned and operated since 1923, Zilka and Company is a fourth-generation bakery supply distributor dedicated to providing exceptional service and quality products to our customers. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in a role focused on customer relations, order coordination, and supporting food safety compliance efforts across our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using our internal order management system.
- Verify order fulfillment details and ensure accurate billing and documentation.
- Communicate with customers to resolve order or delivery questions promptly and professionally.
- Support compliance efforts by organizing documentation for produced products, assisting with labeling, and ensuring food safety operations are properly documented and maintained.
- Assist in the coordination of credit and account information as required by company policy.
- Provide general administrative support to the front office team.
- Work closely with sales, logistics, and accounting to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Be actively involved on the warehouse floor as needed, supporting team members and ensuring operational efficiency.
- Maintain a professional, customer-focused demeanor in all interactions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in customer service and order processing within a logistics or warehousing setting preferred.
- Experience or familiarity with food manufacturing and food safety compliance processes preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and commitment to accuracy, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
