Bilingual Water and Fire Restoration Technician

Job Description:
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable candidate who can develop the skills to be our next Mitigation Lead Technician. As a Mitigation Lead Technician, you will be responsible for leading and supervising mitigation projects, including water damage restoration, mold remediation, and other environmental hazards. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, great at documentation and following a system. Desire to gain hands-on experience in disaster recovery and the ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Build trust with customers by explaining our processes, answering their questions, and ensuring their understanding, leading to signed agreements.
- Learn to oversee the inspection and assessment of properties to identify mitigation needs.
- Document daily communication and work performed through photos and written reports via our software for both staff and insurance carriers.
- Provide 24/7 emergency response to customer requests, performing necessary mitigation tasks as required.
- Focus on client satisfaction, maintaining a positive and professional attitude (the “yes ma’am” mentality).
- Develop the ability to lead and supervise mitigation projects, including water, fire, contents efficiently while maintaining a focus on high-quality service.
- Ensure safety protocols and company procedures are followed during all restoration processes.
- Communicate directly with clients, provide project updates and managing expectations.
- Ensure all equipment and materials are used efficiently and effectively.
- Acquire the ability to prepare accurate documentation for insurance claims and job completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with services.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- Ability to obtain IICRC certification (WRT, FMRT, or similar).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience completing hands-on work in a construction or industrial setting.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Must know English. Spanish is good too.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle stressful situations.
- Availability for on-call emergency response.
- Available to travel when needed.
