Safety Coordinator - Telecommunications

Responsibilities:
- Conduct accident, incident, and near-miss investigations in a timely manner and present root cause findings to the Safety Committee
- Review and approve daily safety paperwork from jobsites
- Assist with new hire safety orientations and ongoing field technician training
- Support compliance with regulatory training requirements
- Maintain PPE and safety equipment inventory alongside the Inventory Coordinator
- Assist the Safety & Training Manager with the safe driver and competent person programs
- Serve on the Safety Committee and collaborate with leadership to uphold the company's safety culture
Skills / Must Haves:
- 2+ years' experience in a construction, utility, or manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of OSHA 1926/1910 standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High School Diploma (CSP certification a plus)
