Seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support attorneys with litigation and administrative tasks in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare legal documents, correspondence, briefs, and pleadings
- Manage extensive calendaring of hearings, depositions, and deadlines
- Assist with trial preparation and provide trial support as needed
- Maintain client files and handle opening/closing of matters
- Coordinate calls, meetings, mailings, and document projects
- Provide general administrative and firmwide support
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of legal assistant experience , preferably in a law firm
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Adobe, electronic filing, and document management systems (iManage preferred)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a high-paced environment
Education:
- High xrczosw school diploma required; college degree preferred
