Assistant Controller

The Assistant Controller will play a key role in supporting the company’s financial operations across multiple business divisions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong internal controls. Responsibilities

• Support daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance and financial reporting
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and credit card reconciliations
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, budgets, and operational performance
• Assist with payroll coordination, employee records management, and monthly financial reporting
• Support tax preparation, CPA coordination, audits, licensing, and compliance reporting
• Help enforce company policies, accountability, and workplace standards
• Contribute to process improvements and support strategic planning initiatives
• Serve as a reliable backup to the Controller and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 5+ years of accounting or financial management experience
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of GAAP (General Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Comfortable working collaboratively with multiple teams
