Position Overview

A well-established private practice is urgently seeking a Certified School Psychologist to perform psychological assessments and evaluations for students, focusing on both educational and emotional needs.

Dr. King's private practice brings over 35 years of service to the community, known for its effective results, dedicated advocacy, and thorough follow-up support.

Position Details

· This position is full time, Monday through Thursday, with each day consisting of 8 hours; the office is closed on Fridays.

· Compensation will be discussed in person.

Job Description / Goals / Candidate qualities

Applicants should demonstrate:

· Experience with administering, scoring, and interpreting a variety of cognitive, achievement, adaptive behavior, and social/emotional measures

· Collaboration with Dr. King on report writing and feedback meetings to identify student strengths, weaknesses, possible diagnoses, and to develop tailored educational support plans

· Ability to build rapport with school-aged children, adult clients, and parents

· Trustworthy and approachable personality

· Strong communication and listening skills

· Patience and willingness to learn

· Adherence to APA ethical guidelines

· Proficient reading, writing, and critical thinking ability
