Wealth Advisor (Registered Rep) - Dauphin/Lancaster Area

Responsibilities: The purpose of this role is to provide financial planning services and when appropriate recommend investment or insurance products to prospective and existing clients. The Wealth Advisor handles financial planning situations that may include portfolio reviews, analysis and assessments, pre/post-retirement planning, and asset allocation strategies.
The Wealth Advisor will build member relationships based on individualized needs analysis, prepare customized financial solutions by offering an array of products and services best suited to meet needs. The role will deliver a diversified set of brokerage, investment, and insurance solutions with a Financial Planning mindset. Additionally, the role will provide, prioritize and execute recommendations to include documenting member interactions, preparing paperwork, placing trades, opening/servicing accounts, ensuring all paperwork is in good order, coordinating signatures and submitting referrals to business partners. The role will also maintain contact with clients and continuously monitor portfolio performance to review financial recommendations. Finally, the role will maintain compliance with all credit union, NCUA, broker dealer, agency, and FINRA policies and regulations.
If applicable and this individual is covered under a written Dual Representative Agreement with the broker dealer that has been contracted by the credit union. Duties relating to the purchase and sale of securities, including all other aspects of the broker dealer program are subject to the direct supervision of the broker dealer and not the credit union, as delineated in the Dual Representative agreement. The duties, responsibilities and authorities mentioned in this Job Description are distinctly separate and apart from their obligations under their Dual Representative Agreement.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
• Visually able to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading
• Ability to sit for extended time periods
• Sufficient manual skill for operation of PC keyboard and other standard office equipment
• Ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel
• Ability to exert minimum amounts of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects

Qualifications:3-5 years of related experience
Education Level: General and business knowledge equivalent to a bachelor's degree Certifications: Series 7, 65 and 63. PA Life, Accident & Health Compensation Overview:This role is 100% commission-based position.
