Facilities Specialist (Pittsburgh, PA)

Join our Corporate Americas Facility Team in our Pittsburgh, PA site as a Facilities Specialist and help us create a safe, efficient and welcoming environment for our colleagues. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being at the heart of operations, solving problems and keeping things running smoothly every day.

What will you be doing?

• Acting as the first point of contact for operational requests and questions, managing the facilities helpdesk and ensuring issues are logged and directed
• Coordinating small value purchases and supporting the maintenance of facility assets, site records and documentation
• P rovide additional backup support of administrative services at their home office as required, including visitor management, assisting with meeting and events, and conducting site inductions.
• Support the administration of the Facilities Workplace Services (ServiceNow) ticketing platform, including m onitoring, updating and publishing helpful articles for facilities-related topics.
• Assist in the maintenance, safety and security arrangements at all distribution hubs, including the reporting of non-compliance issues, maintaining and communicating HSE/Emergency information, and the management of sub-contractors or vendors.
  

What will you need to be successful?

• Associate’s degree in business or related field, or an equivalent relevant year of Bachelor’s degree.
  

Experience:

• 2-5 years working within similar corporate environment.
• Experience conducting data entry and asset management.
• Experience in Facilities or Corporate Real Estate is a plus
• Previous experience or knowledge with ServiceNow or similar ticketing platforms is a plus.

Competences: ​

• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Excel and PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, Outlook/Office 365 and ability to navigate other database platforms
• Strong customer service experience with understanding of office management requirements.
• Strong reasoning, high level of dependability, and collaborative work style. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Self-motivator with willingness to accept feedback and direction from others.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
