We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. In this long-term contract role, you will play a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with established accounting standards. The position offers an opportunity to work on complex accounting processes, including general ledger management, month-end closings, and reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly documented and accounted for.

• Prepare and post journal entries for various transactions, including accruals and adjustments.

• Conduct detailed account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between internal records and bank statements.

• Collaborate with other departments to gather and validate financial data for reporting purposes.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and related reports.

• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and implement best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience in accounting roles, with a focus on month-end close, general ledger, and reconciliations.

• Proficiency in accounting software, with experience using Oracle preferred.

• Strong understanding of US GAAP and its application in financial reporting.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with ASC 842 lease accounting standards is a plus.
