Medical Data Reporting Specialist

Put your Excel and reporting skills to work in a healthcare environment where accuracy matters. This Medical Data Reporting Specialist role supports billing, revenue cycle, and operational teams by preparing reports, organizing data, and helping leadership better understand key business information.

This role is primarily remote after 90 days of required onsite training near Camp Hill, PA. Candidates must be able to complete the initial onsite training period and attend occasional onsite meetings after training. Pay is up to $27/hr. based on experience.

Medical Data Reporting Specialist Responsibilities:

• Prepare recurring business, billing, and revenue cycle reports
• Pull and organize data from internal systems and healthcare platforms
• Use Excel to create, update, and maintain spreadsheets and reporting templates
• Review reports for accuracy, missing information, or unusual trends
• Share completed reports with internal teams and leadership
• Maintain organized reporting files and documentation
• Support additional billing, revenue cycle, and administrative reporting needs

Medical Data Reporting Specialist Requirements:

• Prior reporting, data entry, billing, administrative, or healthcare operations experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, filtering, and lookups
• Ability to review data carefully and identify errors or inconsistencies
• Healthcare, medical billing, medical AR, or revenue cycle experience preferred
• Experience with healthcare software, EHR systems, or reporting platforms preferred
• Power BI experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
• Ability to work independently and meet recurring deadlines
• Must be able to complete 90 days of onsite training near Camp Hill, PA

Compensation & Benefits:
