Security Systems Design Change Support Engineer

We’re looking for a hands-on engineer who thrives at the intersection of design control, cybersecurity documentation, and field execution for Security Computer Systems at a nuclear site.
Your mission
- Own the lifecycle of design changes: review, process, and reconcile engineering change packages under the Standard Design Process (IP-ENG-001).
- Drive documentation excellence across cybersecurity artifacts, drawings, vendor manuals, and calculations.
- Partner with field installation groups and support installation crews during implementation and system cutover activities, with a focus on multiplexer (MUX) cutovers.
- Collaborate effectively and provide responsive customer service to meet defined specifications and project timelines.
What you bring
- Electrical engineering background and working knowledge of Security Computer Systems.
- Proven experience conducting technical reviews of engineering change packages.
- Strong teamwork and stakeholder service orientation.
- Previous nuclear site exposure is preferred.
Credentials and compliance
- Qualified (or able to qualify) for Vistra’s Safeguards Information program in accordance with 10 CFR 73.21.
- Qualified (or able to qualify) under Vistra’s 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix B Quality Assurance Program to execute the Owner’s Acceptance Review (OAR) process per NOP-CC-2003.
- May require 10 CFR 50.59 qualification to process licensing paperwork, depending on scope (coverage available within the team).
- Contractor badging for site access will be provided.
