Cashier / Customer Service Associate!

Job description:

Are you a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused individual with a passion for providing excellent service? Our busy smoke shop is looking for a new team member to join us as a Cashier and Customer Service Associate!

In this role, you'll be the face of our store, assisting customers with their purchases, answering questions about our wide range of products, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

* Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

* Accurately process transactions using our POS system.

* Answer customer questions about products (vapes, e-liquids, glass, cigars, etc.) and make recommendations.

* Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and counter area.

* Restock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed.

* Verify customer identification for age-restricted products.

* Handle cash and card payments accurately.

* Resolve customer inquiries and issues efficiently and courteously.

Qualifications:

* Must be at least 21 years of age.

* Must have reliable transportation.

* Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

* Knowledge of smoke shop products is a plus, but we're happy to train the right candidate!

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.

* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

* Availability to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
