Manager, Production

We are looking for experienced Production Managers , based in York, PA , to plan, direct and coordinate the operations at the facility. You will be responsible for improving performance, productivity, and efficiency through the implementation of effective methods and strategies. It's an exciting time to join the DP World team!

About the Role

How you will contribute

• Manage, oversee adherence to company/ customer quality requirements
• Monitor production activities to ensure requirements are met
• Mentor, coach, motivate direct reports
• Control expenses – monitor workgroups/ areas to ensure cost initiatives are being met
• Develop/maintain solid customer relationships/open communication while working with peers/workgroups to resolve issues, develop continual improvements
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Key Qualifications

• High school diploma, college preferred or equivalent experience
• Solid understanding of Production activities/environment
• Strong interpersonal skills (strong team builder/player)
• Strong leadership, problem solving, mentoring skills
• Knowledge of QS/ISO/Lean Manufacturing concepts preferred.
