Industrial Maintenance Supervisor
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Industrial Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Chester, PA. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance operations of our facility, ensuring that all equipment and machinery are running smoothly and efficiently. You will lead a skilled team of maintenance technicians, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes safety and productivity. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team, ensuring timely and effective completion of tasks.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Manage maintenance budgets and resources, optimizing costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Provide training and mentorship to maintenance staff, promoting skill development and safety awareness.
- Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory management.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and troubleshoot equipment failures as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in an industrial environment.
