Buyer
A Buyer is needed for an energy equipment manufacturing and services company in the Findlay Township, PA area. This role will handle the end-to-end purchasing lifecycle, from technical RFQs and contract negotiations to ERP management and compliance with government regulations. location: Findlay Township, Pennsylvania

salary: $25.76 - 36.58 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm
education: Bachelors responsibilities:
- Conduct RFQs, negotiate pricing, and finalize contractual terms to ensure best overall value.
- Issue purchase orders and manage the full procure-to-pay cycle within the ERP system.
- Ensure full compliance with defense-related regulations and company procurement policies.
- Analyze spend and supplier bases to drive cost savings, price deflation, and cash flow improvements.
- Resolve complex supplier disputes, AP issues, and logistics or customs challenges.
- Oversee supplier relationships to improve on-time delivery and technical capacity.
- Track and report on key performance metrics including savings against budget and payment terms.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, and Project Management to interpret technical requirements and drawings.
- Update and maintain ERP data (such as SAP) to reflect schedule changes and order acknowledgments.
- Develop and implement regional sourcing strategies in coordination with global stakeholders.
- Experience in purchase order execution.
- Ability to be proactive and negotiate with vendors/supplies when needed.
- Fundamental knowledge of sourcing and procurement process.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in business related areas.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial sourcing, procurement, supplier management and contract negotiation or
- 1 year experience plus MBA / Master's degree in relevant field.
