Machine Operator

Mancan Staffing is seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to operate an OD (Outside Diameter) Grinder in the manufacturing of carbide wear parts and carbide cold draw/forming tooling. This is a full-time, on-site position at our facility in Carnegie, PA.

Key Responsibilities:

. Set up and operate OD grinding machines for carbide components

. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications

. Measure and inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments to ensure quality standards

. Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools

. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

. Work independently and collaboratively with the production team

. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies

. Adjust processes to improve quality or efficiency as needed

Qualifications:

. Experience operating OD grinders required, preferably with carbide materials

. Knowledge of grinding tolerances, feeds, and speeds

. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and work instructions

. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

. Basic math and measurement skills

. Willingness to be flexible with schedule and job duties

. High school diploma or equivalent preferred
