Shop Helper/Technician

Job Description: Will be assembling, reassembling valves, machine operation, and performing shipping and receiving duties. Hours are Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm. Starting pay is $20.

Responsibilities/Skills

• Perform mechanical assembly of valves and components using hand and power tools.
• Mix, prepare and pack molds with plastic blends.
• Remove hot molds from the oven, press, and demold them.
• Perform basic set up and lathe machine operation on parts to remove surface defects.
• Diligently log information at all steps of the packing and demolding process.
• Clean molds via sandblasting and honing and reassemble them.
• Ability to perform loading/unloading, production, and cleaning tasks.
• Experience working in a machine shop or around machinery/production.
• Ability to read a tape measure and directions.
• Capability to lift 75 pounds and work in high heat environments as needed
• Basic computer skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
