Join Foth as a Mechanical Process Engineer , where you'll play a key role in delivering innovative utility solutions for industrial clients. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and execution of process utility systems while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive project success. You'll help shape best practices, apply cutting-edge engineering approaches, and grow your expertise in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other project disciplines to ensure integrated solutions
• Prepare equipment specifications and technical documentation
• Partner with clients, vendors, and suppliers to generate cost estimates and contribute to proposal development
• Create mass and energy balances to support process design
• Produce process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
• Compile equipment lists, line lists, and points of connection (POC) documentation
• Define operational parameters and performance criteria
• Work closely with designers to translate engineering concepts into drawings
• Author installation scope documents for construction teams
• Provide support during on-site construction and installation phases
• Assist with system checkout and start-up activities
• Mentor and coach junior team members as needed
• Conduct on-site surveys to assess existing conditions

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent technical experience
• 7+ years of experience with utility systems such as steam, refrigeration/ammonia, compressed air, HVAC, compressed gases, and water systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Registered Professional Engineer
• Industrial HVAC and Dust Control experience
