Job Title: Assembler
Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in assembling small parts for elevator doors, walls, and other components. In this role, you will also be responsible for packing parts for shipment. Ideal candidates will possess basic assembly experience or a mechanical inclination.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and pack a wide variety of mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, and fabricated elevator components.
• Perform all operations necessary to assemble, align, and pack elevator subassemblies and assemblies within the allocated times while maintaining quality specifications.
• Work from manufacturing information, SAP, COE sheets, engineering drawings, written, and oral instructions.
• Package and identify completed assemblies for shipment.
• Maintain all required records and documents.

• Basic assembly experience or mechanical inclination.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Basic blueprint reading skills.
• Experience with picking and packing.
• Capability to work with kitting and production subassembly.

• Experience in mechanical assembly and electrical assembly.
• Familiarity with assembly line work instructions and inspection processes.

Work Environment

Our facility offers a fairly clean environment with moderate noise levels. As part of our safety standards, candidates are required to wear steel-toed boots, long pants, and safety glasses while in the shop. The work hours are Monday through Friday, from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
