Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with certification as a Certified School Nurse (CSN) to support the health and wellness of students within a K-12 school environment in Philadelphia, PA. This contract position spans the current school year (CSY) and involves contributing to a safe and healthy educational atmosphere through prehensive nursing care and health education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students, including assessment, treatment, and health monitoring
• Manage and document student health records in accordance with school policies and legal requirements
• Implement and oversee individualized healthcare plans and emergency protocols
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to address student health needs
• Promote wellness initiatives and health education programs within the school munity
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Certification as a Certified School Nurse (CSN) required
• Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings
• Strong knowledge of school health laws, regulations, and procedures
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent munication and organizational skills
