Engineering Consulting – Environmental - Site Development - Infrastructure
Our multidisciplinary engineering client based in Bucks County, PA, is actively seeking to add a Civil Engineer to the growing team. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys diverse project work, values technical problem-solving, and wants to contribute to impactful projects across industries. You will work on projects from concept through construction, collaborating closely with professionals in civil, environmental, geotechnical, surveying, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare civil/site design plans including grading, earthwork, access roads, utilities, and facility layouts.
- Develop stormwater management systems, drainage design, and erosion & sediment control plans.
- Support land development planning and coordinate with internal survey teams to integrate accurate topographic and boundary data.
- Assist in preparing permit applications, engineering reports, and design packages for local, state, and federal agencies.
- Incorporate environmental, hydrologic, and geotechnical considerations into design work to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Work on multidisciplinary projects such as solid waste facility upgrades, mining infrastructure, brownfield redevelopment, and industrial site improvements.
- Provide engineering support during construction, including reviewing submittals, responding to contractor RFIs, and performing field inspections.
- Collaborate with construction managers, survey personnel, and environmental specialists to ensure design intent is met.
- Perform engineering calculations related to stormwater, hydrology, hydraulics, utilities, and site grading.
- Use civil engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, or similar) to develop plans and technical deliverables.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project solutions.
- Support project managers with schedules, scope development, technical documentation, and client communication.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 3–10 years of civil engineering experience within consulting, site development, environmental, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Applicants must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
- Experience preparing engineering drawings, grading plans, drainage systems, and permitting documents.
- Strong understanding of regulatory processes, including NPDES, land development ordinances, stormwater requirements, and erosion control regulations.
- FE/EIT desired; PE license or tracking towards PE a plus.
- Ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
