About the Role

Performance Systems Development (PSD) is seeking a(n) Solutions Product Manager to work with a cross-functional team to define requirements for software products and service solutions that consistently deliver problem-solving results for our clients.

As a(n) Solutions Product Manager , you will:

· Define the software products and service solutions vision and strategy aligned with overall business goals.

· Own and manage the product roadmap from concept through launch and beyond.

· Gather and prioritize customer and market requirements through research and feedback, evaluating existing products for enhancement to improve market position.

· Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, operations , sales, marketing, and support to deliver successful product launches.

· Provide technical input and support to training, sales, and marketing teams such as product demos.

SERVICES PRODUCT MANAGEMENT

· Build and maintain strong relationships with third-parties and service providers.

· Define and manage services offerings in alignment with software products and customer expectations.

· Collaborate with commercial and delivery teams to design scalable, customer-centric services.

This position reports to the VP of Business Development and plays a key role in helping PSD grow through the application of our software and services with and focus on innovative approaches that leverage technology and efficient delivery practices to cost-effectively scale delivery of demand side management programs.

What You Bring

  • 4-year degree from an accredited college or university with technical, engineering, or business preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in energy efficiency program design/delivery
  • 2+ years of direct product roadmap management experience
  • Ability to collect, document and manage detailed information from large, cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders with widely varied backgrounds and specialties to foster cross-functional collaboration.
  • Technical knowledge/background to understand and investigate key technologies related to residential and commercial energy efficiency measures and related savings calculations.
  • Flexible communication methods including written, verbal and visual. Comfort with presentations and leading group discussions with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of demand side management program design concepts. Experience with the delivery of state and utility energy efficiency programs across multiple market segments.
  • Compilation and prioritization of product features and service offerings to meet current market/client requirements and adapt to future market trends.

Additional Details

  • Physical Demands: Frequent computer use requiring periods of sitting and close audio-visual concentration. Physical demands are minimal and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations.
  • Work Environment: Office work performed in a collaborative environment with a high degree of independence.
  • Travel Requirements: Travel of up to 25% time for client meetings and some industry conferences. Domestic air travel likely required.
