Order Entry Representative
The Order Entry Representative serves as the first point of contact for customers placing orders. This role involves handling a high volume of quick calls and emails daily, primarily in a business-to-business context. The representative will resolve customer questions and issues, manage customer service inquiries, and process all orders over the phone while building rapport with customers.
Responsibilities- Act as the first point of contact for customers placing orders.
- Handle a high volume of quick calls and emails, up to 80+ daily.
- Manage customer interactions primarily in a business-to-business setting.
- Resolve customer questions and issues effectively.
- Process and manage all orders over the phone.
- Build and maintain rapport with customers during interactions.
- Work off a queue from a central number that customers call into.
- Handle increased call volume during peak seasons, reaching 90-100 calls daily.
- Experience with order entry and processing.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent multitasking abilities.
- Great personality with strong communication skills.
- No specific certifications or education required.
The role is based in an on-site office environment with a cubicle setting. The dress code is business casual. The representative will work within a team of six other Order Entry Reps, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Bethlehem, PA. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
