Inpatient Psychiatrist - UPMC Harrisburg
You will collaborate with a dedicated team of psychiatric physicians and behavioral health executive leadership to help build a successful, engaged, and sustainable inpatient program. About the Position: · Opportunity to launch and build a brand-new inpatient psychiatry unit from the ground up · Be part of the development and growth of a new program, offering adult beds and adolescent beds, with appropriate physician coverage and support · Collaborate closely with a strong physician partner at launch, with planned growth including a range of clinical programs with full multidisciplinary team support · Teaching opportunities with the chance to work with learners · Full-time position with the potential for flexible clinical options as the program expands · Supported by a dedicated marketing and outreach team · Opportunities for community engagement, leadership involvement, and ongoing professional growth
Physician Qualifications: · Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry · Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Pennsylvania · Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered, compassionate care · Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary care team
