As an Assistant Executive Director, you will carry out our Mission of Love by providing supervision and guidance to managers. Must also be able to communicate effectively with all departments to ensure good teamwork
Our Assistant Executive Director is responsible for the following:
- Participating with other administrators/directors in strategic planning for the Masonic Villages. Taking the strategic plan and directing the planning process for the nursing home and assisted living facility at Masonic Village at Sewickley.
- Providing leadership for the continuous quality assessment and improvement process and chairs the CQAI Committee. Assuring customer feedback and outcome data drive the process.
- Providing and maintaining effective communication with staff, residents, families, and the community to solicit feedback regarding performance, needs, safety, etc., and to effectively build relationships.
- Ensuring the efficient economic and quality performance of all departments in the delivery of quality health care and services.
- Ensuring that health care services comply with regulatory and accrediting standards and that developed policies, procedures, systems, and programs are in compliance.
- Assuring effective management/supervisory staff through appropriate hiring, professional development, coaching, mentoring, and a performance enhancement process that is focused on achieving personal and organizational goals.
- Maintaining professional affiliations and enhancing professional growth and development to keep abreast of latest trends. Serving on professional/civic organizations as the Masonic Village representative. Meeting with members of the community to promote good community relations and to promote preventive health care.
- Effectively resolving problems and issues using teamwork and collaboration and interdisciplinary involvement. Empowering staff to problem solve, make recommendations, and decisions for process improvements.
What You Have:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a health related field required. Masters degree preferred.
- Must be licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Five years minimum pertinent work experience.
- Ability to effectively communicate in both written and oral form.
- Basic working knowledge of financial accounting, budget methods, and sound business practices.
- Thorough knowledge and background in geriatric health care and geriatric services.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations.
- Must be able to prioritize projects and deal with long and irregular hours with many interruptions.
- Good written, oral, organizational, and basic computer skills
