This is a structured, school-based role with consistent hours, strong support, and a collaborative team environment. This position aligns closely with a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) role within a school setting.

Position Overview
As a Special Education Paraprofessional , you’ll work directly with students with autism in a school-based setting, supporting both academic and behavioral goals.
You’ll implement individualized support strategies aligned with ABA principles and IEPs, while working closely with a team of educators and clinical staff.
Responsibilities
• Provide direct classroom support to students with autism
• Implement individualized behavior strategies and IEP goals
• Collect and document behavioral and academic data
• Support communication, social skills, and daily functioning
• Collaborate with Behavior Consultants, teachers, and school staff
• Participate in ongoing supervision and professional development
Qualifications
• High school diploma required
• Experience working with children preferred
• Interest in behavioral health, ABA, psychology, education, or human services
• Ability to remain patient, structured, and professional
• Ability to pass required background checks and clearances
