The Pharmacy Compounding Technician will perform sterile compounding under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. This position is responsible for cleaning and disinfecting the cleanroom spaces, transferring materials and inventory into the cleanroom, and compounding medication in accordance with company policy and procedure.

Essential Job Duties:
- Compounds sterile medication in accordance with USP 797, industry best practices, and company policy to service the needs of the patient census.
- Applies appropriate sterile garb in the cleanrooms and controlled environment and uses aseptic technique throughout the production process.
- Calibrates, uses, and maintains compounding equipment, such as balances and automated compounding devices.
- Cleans and disinfects critical areas in the cleanroom and transfers materials and inventory in accordance with company policy.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- State Pharmacy Technician licensure/registration where required
- Excellent time management skills including reliability, punctuality, and adherence to the production team’s schedule.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, ability to work cohesively in teams, and attention to detail.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to travel via car, train or plane, stand (up to 8 hours or more), sit, walk, see, hear; use hands and fingers regularly, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Salary Range: $21-22/hr
Pentec Health offers a comprehensive compensation and full benefits package. Actual pay will be based on several factors such as qualifications and skills for the role plus geographic location.
