Administrative Assistant
The Piano Technicians Guild (PTG) is a 501(c)(6) professional association dedicated to advancing the art and science of piano technology. We are seeking an Administrative Assistantto support our Education and Membership departments, as well as provide administrative support for organizational meetings and publications. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with strong organizational skills who is interested in growing into a future managerial position within PTG.
Key Responsibilities
Departmental Support
Provide daily administrative support for the Education and Membership departments.
Assist with scheduling, correspondence, and project coordination.
Help manage records, databases, and files related to education programs, certifications, and membership services.
Meetings & Publications
Support the preparation, logistics, and follow-up for internal and external meetings, including committee and board meetings.
Assist with publication processes, including proofreading, formatting, and coordinating content submissions.
Maintain accurate minutes, reports, and documentation as needed.
General Administrative Duties
Serve as a point of contact for members and stakeholders, responding to inquiries and providing excellent customer service.
Process invoices, expense reports, and departmental budgets as directed.
Assist in maintaining timelines and ensuring deliverables are met across projects.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
At least 2 years of administrative or office support experience.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with database systems preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams in a professional office setting.
