Job Description

We are hiring a Recruiter/Trainer professional to support our recruitment efforts and administrative operations. This role involves sourcing and training talent, managing office tasks, and occasional travel to support outreach initiatives. You'll play a key role in building our team to advance our advocacy goals.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment : Source, screen, and interview candidates for various roles within the organization.
• Training : Conduct onboarding and training sessions for new hires to align with our mission and operational needs.
• Office Clerical Duties : Manage schedules, maintain records, handle correspondence, and ensure smooth office operations.
• Travel : Occasional local and regional travel for recruitment events, community outreach, or training sessions (travel expenses covered).
• Data Management : Track recruitment metrics and maintain applicant databases.
• Collaboration : Work with leadership to refine hiring strategies and support advocacy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience : Prior experience in recruitment, HR, or office administration preferred; nonprofit experience is a plus.
• Skills : Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in MS Office or similar tools.
• Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field preferred.
• Availability : Willingness to travel occasionally (valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred).
• Attributes : Passion for community advocacy, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate : Starting at $20/hour, with opportunities for monthly performance-based bonuses.
