As a Technology Program Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in leading and managing engineering projects. You will be responsible for defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams. By developing and implementing project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, you will ensure efficient project execution and delivery. Monitoring project progress and ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets will help maintain project efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Your expertise in identifying and mitigating risks and issues that may impact project delivery will contribute to successful project outcomes. You will report directly to our Director of Program Management, and you will work out of our Fort Washington, PA, Phoenix, AZ or Houston ,TX locations on a hybrid work schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage engineering projects to ensure successful execution and delivery
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery
  • Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and practices

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • 6+ years of experience in engineering project management
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Experience in risk management and problem-solving
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
