Senior Controls and Conveyor Maintenance Technician
Are you the person everyone calls when the line won’t start?
Then step into a role where you own the reliability of our automation. You’ll troubleshoot PLC-driven systems, keep conveyors and sorters tuned, and mentor teammates—all while safeguarding a world-class Customer Fulfillment Center.
Your mission
- Prevent problems: schedule and perform PMs on automation systems (conveyors, merges, sorters, VFDs, motors, robotic packing, AMRs, print-and-apply labelers).
- Fix fast: respond to work orders and operational calls with minimal supervision; diagnose electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical issues quickly.
- Lead safely: model LOTO and safe lift operation; document hazards and partner with the Facility Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisor to resolve them.
- Elevate the team: coach less-experienced techs on equipment operation and troubleshooting; contribute to safety teams and continuous improvement.
- Stay organized: manage parts, tools, and test equipment; keep accurate work order/time entries; interpret machine/building drawings to speed repairs.
- Champion culture: support the Safety Culture and foster the MSC Culture across the department.
- Adapt and assist: jump into special projects and additional duties when needed—without disrupting distribution operations.
What sets you apart
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification or degree in maintenance-related field.
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in industrial/warehouse environments.
- Training on automation equipment; 2+ years troubleshooting and repairing controls (PLCs). Programming exposure is a plus.

- Hands-on with robotic packing, modular picking equipment, AMRs, and print-and-apply systems.
