NOC Technician (SCFS)

Akkodis is seeking a NOC Technician (SCFS) for a Contract role with a client in Canonsburg, PA (Hybrid) . The ideal candidate will possess strong technical troubleshooting abilities, customer service experience, and familiarity with wireless/telecommunications network operations.

Rate Range: $30/hour to $33/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

NOC Technician (SCFS) job responsibilities include:

• Serve as primary support for Small Cell Operations , managing internal and customer devices, alarms, and restoration activities.

• Monitor and troubleshoot DAS & Small Cell networks using provided NOC tools and systems.

• Analyze alarms, identify root cause correlations, and determine required remediation steps.

• Engage Field Operations and Tier 2 technical teams for escalated equipment issues.

• Notify customers of network issues, outages, and business impacts; provide timely updates.

• Review planned and unplanned changes to network infrastructure for potential impacts.

• Utilize remote access tools to identify, isolate, and resolve host or remote equipment issues.

• Coordinate communication with the Fiber NOC regarding alarm status, escalations, and resolutions.

Desired Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Electronics , Information Technology , or equivalent technical training.

• 3–5 years of customer service and/or service dispatch experience.

• Telecommunications or wireless experience strongly preferred.

• Experience working in a Network Operations, Service Desk, or similar technical environment.

Other Skills / Abilities:

• Knowledge of wireless telecommunications network management systems .

• Strong customer service orientation, with excellent problem‑solving abilities.

• High personal accountability and attention to detail.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn specialized NOC tools.

• Ability to complete accurate maintenance and incident tickets.

• Knowledge of RF, DAS, Small Cell, and telecommunications systems a plus.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $33.00 per hour
