Shipping Coordinator - Logistics - 2nd Shift

Almac Group is currently seeking a shipping coordinator for our Souderton, PA location. The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for processing and coordinating the workflow of customer and internal shipping requests.

***2nd Shift - 3PM till 11PM (10% shift differential)***

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist in coordinating the daily work flow amongst the Distribution Technicians and the Sr. Distribution Technicians.
• Create all specialty and international documents which includes, but not limited to, Proforma /Commercial invoices; international Airway Bills / Labels; Shippers Export Declaration (SED); Hazmat Declarations; set up inspection(s) of material and scheduling export pick-ups with various couriers.
• Perform 2nd check of all Project orders in the COSMOS distribution system.
• Coordinate with couriers to ensure proper shipping documentation is in place and timely delivery of domestic and international shipments.
• Help resolve discrepancies regarding customer shipping requests, inventory issues, and pack outs.
• Maintain adequate levels of inventory for temperature recording devices.

Qualifications:

Required Experience / Education:

• High School Diploma
• 1+ year’s experience in a distribution or warehouse environment

Preferred Experience / Education:

• Pharmaceutical Experience
• Warehouse Experience
• Distribution Experience
• International and Domestic shipping requirements
• Working in a cGMP Environment
