Position Summary:

The Community Inclusion Specialist promotes opportunities for individuals to actively participate in and contribute to their communities. This role focuses on fostering social inclusion, building community partnerships, and supporting participants to engage in meaningful, integrated activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and facilitate inclusive community activities, events, and partnerships.
• Support individuals to build social connections, friendships, and community involvement.
• Advocate for inclusion, accessibility, and diversity within community organizations and businesses.
• Collaborate with local agencies, employers, and groups to create inclusive environments and opportunities.
• Encourage participants to identify and pursue interests that promote personal growth and belonging.
• Track and report on engagement outcomes and program impact.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Community Development, Social Work, Human Services, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in community engagement, inclusion programming, or advocacy preferred.
• Excellent communication, networking, and public relations skills.
• Passion for promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel within the community.
