Machine Operator Spot Welder

**Job Title: Spot Welder** **1st shift- Monday to Thursday 10 hour shift** **Job Description** We are seeking a Machine Operator 1st shift. This role involves operating a spot welding machine to weld two parts together, ensuring quality inspections of welded parts, and packaging. The position requires problem-solving abilities and basic computer skills to enter finished materials into the ERP tracking system. **Responsibilities** + Operate a spot welding machine to weld parts together. + Secure parts in fixtures and operate the machine efficiently. + Conduct quality inspections on welded parts. + Package welded parts appropriately. + Solve issues that arise during the welding process. + Enter finished materials into the ERP tracking system accurately. **Essential Skills** + 2 years of experience working in Manufacturing + Proficient in problem-solving and comfortable with repetitive tasks. + Basic math skills. + Understanding of welding and ability to identify quality welds. + Basic computer skills for data entry. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with MIG welding, layout, and robotic welding. + Attention to detail. + Ability to read blueprints. + Familiarity with calipers, tape measures, and micrometers. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.75/hr.
