Responsibilities & Essential Functions (not all inclusive):
- Perform compliance testing and/or inspections at petroleum fueling locations
- Meet due dates noted in the work orders for the compliance work
- Complete all required local, state, or federal paperwork promptly and professionally
- Follow customer protocols and procedures, including the customer’s safety and housekeeping guidelines
- Maintain inventory levels to achieve an acceptable first-time fix rate
- Self-motivate, self-start, and manage time effectively to meet critical deadlines
- Work independently without constant direct supervision and function effectively as part of a team
- Properly use standard hand tools and job-specific equipment
Requirements:
- A mechanical background along with a history of working with hand tools, experience in trades, and/or experience in any industrial/commercial settings
- Ability to lift 10-50lbs as well as frequent kneeling, bending, handling, reaching, and standing
- Must be capable of climbing ladders to install and retrieve equipment
- Ability to work independently and communicate well
- Ability to learn and utilize computer applications, smartphones, and ticketing systems
- Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask
- Knowledge of applicable laws, safety, and technical protocols is a plus
- Basic knowledge of technology – tablet/phone/computer – for documentation
