Business Analyst

Overview
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring business requirements are accurately translated into functional and technical system solutions. This role focuses on analyzing business processes, identifying system enhancements, and supporting the delivery of efficient, scalable, and user friendly systems.

Key Responsibilities
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, processes, and system needs
• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements
• Translate business requirements into detailed system specifications, user stories, and process flows
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, QA, and product teams throughout the development lifecycle
• Support system design decisions by evaluating gaps, dependencies, and impacts
• Facilitate requirements review sessions, workshops, and stakeholder meetings
• Assist with testing activities, including test case development, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect triage
• Support implementation, change management, and post deployment issue resolution
• Maintain documentation such as business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specs, and system diagrams
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization

Required Qualifications
• Strong understanding of business process modeling and systems analysis
• Experience working with Agile, Scrum, or SDLC methodologies
• Ability to write clear, concise functional and technical documentation
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $43.00/hr.
