Location: New Oxford, PA

Job Type: 13-Week Contract

Schedule: 40 Hours/Week | Variable Shifts

Pay Rate: $30 to $35/hour (Negotiable Based on Experience)

Shift Details

Candidates must be flexible to work any assigned shift.

• Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
• Evening Shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
• Night Shift: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM
• 8-hour shifts required
• 30-minute unpaid lunch required

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for a contract assignment in a Long Term Care and Skilled Nursing setting. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality resident care.

The ideal candidate will have prior LTC or Skilled Nursing experience, strong clinical skills, and the flexibility to work variable shifts based on facility needs. Experience with Matrix charting systems is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to long term care residents
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and document resident conditions and responses to care
• Maintain accurate documentation using Matrix charting systems
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and resident assessments
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families
• Follow infection control and patient safety guidelines
• Support resident comfort, dignity, and quality of life
• Respond appropriately to changes in resident conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN License required
• Previous Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work variable shifts as scheduled
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Professional attitude and reliable attendance
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced care environment
• PA Department of Aging Fingerprint Clearance letter required

Preferred Qualifications

• Skilled Nursing Facility experience
• Experience working with geriatric patient populations
• Strong patient assessment and documentation skills
• Experience with Matrix charting systems
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and unit needs

Certifications & Licenses

• Active LPN License (Required)
• PA Department of Aging Fingerprint Clearance (Required)
• BLS Certification (Preferred)
