Food Runner
Recipe Philly is a first-of-its-kind restaurant: a full-service dining experience built on the principles of Heirloom Hospitality. Every dish on our menu comes from a real family recipe, surfaced through a citywide competition and accompanying TV series. The food here means something. So does the team that serves it.
Every plate that leaves our kitchen has a story and an allergy profile you need to know cold. A food runner here isn't just carrying food to a table. You're getting it to the right seat, at the right table, every time.
What you'll do
- Know the menu inside and out, especially allergens
- Memorize all tables and seat numbers
- Carry plates from kitchen to guest with care and confidence
- Build TOGO orders accurately and place them to the right food locker for guest pickup
- Keep supplies stocked, including napkins, utensils, and TOGO containers
- Jump in wherever the front-of-house team needs a hand
What we're looking for
- 2+ years in a high-volume, upscale restaurant preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- A team player who works well under pressure
- Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Available for 5 shifts a week for lunch and/or dinner service
Compensation
Food runners at Recipe Philly earn hourly pay (based on experience) plus tips, paid weekly.
