Job Title: Warehouse Operator
Location: Pottstown, PA

Type: Contract
Compensation: $24.20
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 3rd shift – 11pm - 7am Sunday through Thursday

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all material control functions including shipping, receiving, maintaining rack storage locations, labeling, wrapping, packing finished goods and incoming raw materials.
• Work closely with the Production and Batching teams to ensure that the production line and batching tower is constantly supplied with the required raw materials.
• Comply with all Federal regulatory Hazardous Waste procedures as well as all local and state regulatory requirements.
• Comply with all DOT handling and shipping regulatory requirements for Hazardous Materials.
• Be or become certified for all industrial equipment required to operate their position- This will include sit down electric forklifts, electric reach trucks, and electric pallet trucks.
• Assist in performing physical inventories.
• Responsible for the put-away of all raw materials and finished goods, including using scanning equipment that is tied into DSI/JDE One World and labeling raw materials and finished goods.
• Responsible for package preservation which includes the shrink wrapping, banding, and staging of all finished goods.
• Serve as an effective trainer for new hires.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years’ experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control, preferably in a warehouse in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating forklifts & pallet jacks is highly desired.
• Some experience with automated inventory control and scanning systems desired.
• Good communication skills along with the ability to work well as a member of a team.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects (50 lbs.) on a regular and consistent basis.
