LIMITED TIME ONLY! THE ORCHID STEAKHOUSE is looking for talented and passionate people to come be part of our fine dining establishment! Experience exquisite cuisine, coupled with ambiance and a comfortable setting. Right now, there is a limited opportunity for the employment of front of house greeting and back of house food running. Host(s) and Hostess(es) provide friendly, responsive guest service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests that visit the restaurant. Food Runners provide guest with their orders in an efficient and very professional manner.

Our ideal candidates are early risers, punctual, professional, and organized. They will exhibit the qualities of someone who has a deep love of the food service industry, and an overall need to be better than they were the day before.

Hostess/Host responsibilities include:
• Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
• Assist guests in making reservations in an informative and helpful way
• Ensure all of the guests' information is correct and accurate
• Being polite and friendly
• Providing top tier guest experience

Most importantly, hosts and hostesses are seeking moments for spontaneous hospitality. Constantly learning and growing. Keeping a clean and organized host stand. Practices mindfulness and has patience. Positive attitude and excellent communication skills. Friendly and outgoing personality. Ability to listen and communicate effectively. Strong organizational and motivational skills. Answering the phones and book reservations. Greeting customers and making them feel welcome. Estimating wait time for guests.

Food Runners responsibilities include:

• Expedite service, delivering food promptly from the kitchen to the guests' tables.
• Plate accuracy, verifying every plate against the order ticket before leaving the kitchen to ensure no items are missing or incorrect.
• Presentation awareness, handling plates carefully to maintain the chef's presentation and fine dining standards.
• Communication with servers, coordinating with servers to confirm table numbers, seating positions, and timing of courses.
• Course pacing, delivering dishes in sequence (appetizers, entrees, sides, desserts) and ensure proper pacing of multi-course meals.
