Job Title: Wi-Fi QA Engineer (Telecom Domain Experience Required)
Location: Philadelphia, PA (Onsite/Hybrid)

Key Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Wi-Fi QA testing, specifically within the Telecom domain.

• In-depth knowledge of WLAN protocols (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be)and security protocols (WPA2, WPA3, 802.1X).

• Strong understanding of Wi-Fi extenders, mesh networks, and steering protocols (802.11k, 802.11v, 802.11r).

• Experience collaborating with Product and Development teams to define technical requirements and test strategies.

• Ability to characterize Wi-Fi performance in new products and troubleshoot complex engineering challenges.

• Proficiency in reviewing design specifications with a focus on product architecture, testability, and verification.

• Familiarity with Wi-Fi test automation frameworks and industry standards (IEEE, WFA, WBA, IETF).

• Strong problem-solving skills to identify, debug, and drive resolution of product defects.

• Experience working with tool development teams to enhance automation for new test features.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans to validate Wi-Fi performance, reliability, and interoperability.

• Work closely with engineering teams to define QA strategies and ensure product quality.

• Analyze test results, log defects, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.

• Contribute to the improvement of QA methodologies and best practices.

• Stay updated with emerging Wi-Fi technologies and telecom industry trends.

Must-Have:

• Prior telecom industry experience (service providers, networking equipment vendors, or related fields).

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in real-world Wi-Fi environments.
