Toll Brothers , America's Leading Builder of Luxury Homes, seeks a Purchasing Business Analyst for our team located at our Corporate office in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.
What is the opportunity?
This position is hybrid with 3 days required on-site per week.
The Purchasing Business Analyst plays a key role analyzing data and providing metrics to support business decisions. This role studies trends to identify opportunities for cost differences to be mitigated and cost savings to be achieved. The Purchasing Business Analyst reviews stakeholder requirements to ensure reporting is developed in alignment with company needs.
What are the primary responsibilities?
- Collaborate with National and Division Purchasing, other functional areas, and business stakeholders to collect and document requirements for reporting and analytics tools
- Prepare purchasing related reporting critical to core organizational functions, including cost changes, option margin, and product usage, based on National Purchasing prioritization
- Understand enterprise system setup to ensure accuracy in the data fields used for reporting
- Ensure standardized data models and analytical methodologies
- Complete thorough review of reporting prior to distribution to ensure data is complete, consistent and logical
- Prepare purchasing related reports and dashboards to communicate and understand data, including market differences
- Collaborate with Data Strategy and Analytics team to verify accuracy of Purchasing data and appropriate use in reporting
- Provide actionable metrics to National Purchasing to affect better business outcomes
- Analyze community, division and regional building cost data to assist in the identification of cost savings
- Communicate reporting changes, enhancements and modifications
- Provide support answering and resolving business related reporting questions
- Prepare and maintain documentation on reporting functionality
- All other duties as assigned

Do you have these ?
- Essential:
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, mathematics, statistics, or other quantitative discipline
- 2+ years of data or cost analysis, investigative accounting or related experience
- Experience working with databases and large sets of data
- Advanced knowledge of common spreadsheet applications (e.g. Excel), including formulas, pivot tables, and charting
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (e.g. Word, PowerPoint)
- Aptitude to learn new software programs (EnterpriseOne, Snowflake, Power BI, Data Access Studio/Reports Now)
- Preferred:
- Experience with EnterpriseOne (E1)
- Experience with Power BI
- Experience with Data Access Studio/Reports Now
- Experience in the homebuilding industry
