The Opportunity

• Role: Class A Machinist (Senior Level)

• The Gear: Take command of Okuma Multus B300 and B400 platforms.

• The Tech: Utilize Okuma’s IGF and CAM software (Mastercam/Fusion 360).

What You’ll Do

• Program & Optimize: Use IGF and G-Code to create efficient, repeatable programs.

• Precision Setup: Lead complex setups, including custom fixturing and probing routines.

• Innovate: Partner with Engineering on DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and new part strategies.

• Quality & Mentorship: Perform first-article inspections and coach Class B/C machinists.

What You Bring to the Table

• Proven Mastery/Experience: CNC experience, with specifically programming IGF on Okuma lathes or Multus platforms.

• Technical Fluency: Expert-level blueprint reading, GD&T mastery, and aerospace standards.

• Tooling Expertise: Independent ability to select tooling and troubleshoot surface finish or vibration issues.

• Leadership: A proactive problem-solver who values 5S/Lean principles and documentation.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Program & Optimize: Use IGF and G-Code to create efficient, repeatable programs for multi-axis machines.

• Precision Setup: Lead complex setups, including custom fixturing, probing routines, and zeroing strategies.

• Innovate: Partner with Engineering on DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and develop new part strategies.

• Quality Control: Perform first-article inspections and in-process checks using high-end inspection tools.

• Mentor: Share your mastery by coaching Class B and C machinists on best practices and troubleshooting.
