Our Marriott Brand Spring Hill Suites at Pittsburgh Airport is looking for a stellar director of sales and marketing to create a revenue strategy that maximizes profitability for everyday sales in areas such as rooms, dining, catering, and events. We need someone ready to be the voice of our brand and manage the marketing budget to enable the development of property-specific campaigns, promotions, and collateral to generate revenue and meet property targets. Compensation:$55,000 - $65,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Actively seek new business using marketing campaigns, telemarketing, e-commerce, site visits, and other methods
- Create and implement short and long-term marketing strategies to meet sales team goals and annual sales targets
- Grow customer loyalty while also generating new business by nurturing long-term relationships
- Collaborate with sales managers and stakeholders to assess the performance of the organization
- Develop and train your team to better serve your customers
- Must have a high school diploma or GED, and a bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing or hospitality
- Strong understanding of marketing strategies and best practices
- Minimum of 5 or more years experience in sales and marketing with some experience in sales management
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and software, including Microsoft Word and Excel
