Staff Attorney II - Sr Counsel (multi-level)

Provides legal counsel and advice to the corporation and its subsidiaries Ensures their effective operation in accordance with federal, state, local and/or international laws.

Essential Functions

• Provides legal counsel to the corporation and its subsidiaries.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Participates in litigation. Performs other duties as assigned.
  

Minimum Education

Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA Accredited law school and admission to the bar or equivalent in jurisdiction outside the U.S., and eligible for Florida Authorized House Counsel.

Minimum Experience

Four (4) years of experience and demonstrated competency in relevant area of law specialization.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

Superior academic record. Excellent research and writing skills. Strong negotiation, human relations, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have experience developing and implementing corporate compliance programs, familiarity with best in class investigative practices, and a demonstrated record of conducting complex workplace investigations. Key Areas of Responsibility: Global Investigative Program Governance, Investigative Oversight and Supervision, and Conducting Complex Workplace Investigations.
