Machine Operator
We are seeking dedicated Machine Operators to join our expanding team. You will play a crucial role in our production process, operating state-of-the-art machinery to produce high-quality wire products. These positions are available for the 2nd and 3rd shifts, with initial training provided on the 1st shift.
Responsibilities- Operate digital controlled respooling and drawing machinery to meet customer specifications and production goals.
- Load raw materials, feed wire correctly through machinery, and remove finished products.
- Change machinery configurations for different products or packages.
- Perform quality welds using appropriate equipment.
- Conduct operator preventative maintenance on production and support equipment.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records using measuring tools like tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and policies, ensuring personal protective equipment is worn at all times.
- Keep work areas clean and organized for a safe and efficient environment.
- Participate in training sessions, employee meetings, and project teams as necessary.
- Adjust equipment for optimal operation under management guidance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues using standard problem-solving methods.
- Must pass OSHA approved Forklift Training and maintain a valid forklift license.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with changing priorities.
- Minimum of two years of experience in an industrial facility with machine or production operations.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- Proficiency in English for reading, writing, and verbal communication.
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations and use a calculator for complex tasks.
- Capability to handle physical demands such as lifting up to 70 pounds regularly.
- Technical school education is a plus.
- Experience with safety protocols such as lockout-tagout.
- Familiarity with machine setup and welding.
- Comfortable using the metric measurement system.

Work EnvironmentOur facility operates with a smaller team, ensuring a close-knit work environment. The manufacturing environment is organized and emphasizes safety, requiring safety-toed shoes and ear protection. Employees on the 1st shift include maintenance staff, while the 2nd shift comprises a smaller team.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
