Job Details:

• Work 12-hour rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights) with potential for 10-hour shifts based on unit needs
• 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Every other weekend requirement
• Call responsibilities required on weekdays and/or weekends
• Weekend shifts may include Friday, Saturday, or Sunday
• Must scrub all surgical cases
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience within the last 3 years (3 years preferred)
• Level 1 Trauma experience required (at least 1 year out of the last 3)
• Minimum 1 year of travel experience within the last 3 years
• Must be proficient in General, Ortho, Neuro, Vascular, Trauma, Robotics, and Transplant surgeries
• Flu/COVID vaccination required but accepting medical/religious declinations
• Must respond to offers within 48 hours or they will be withdrawn
• Time off requests cannot be added or altered once offer is accepted

This major medical center operates as a Level 1 Trauma facility providing comprehensive surgical services including general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular procedures, trauma care, robotics, and transplant services. The facility maintains state-of-the-art operating rooms and advanced surgical technology to support complex procedures across multiple specialties. The organization emphasizes excellence in patient care and operates with high-volume surgical caseloads requiring experienced perioperative nurses.
