DESCRIPTION OF WORKOur enthusiastic and dedicated nursing staff provides 24-hour care, seven days a week. From helping our residents prepare for their day to assisting them to participate in exciting activities, you will play a huge role in their day. Through this day to day contact with our residents, you will have the ability to positively impact their quality of life by providing the best possible care. This position is a starting step to a Nurse Aide position. Upon completion of an 8-hour training course and successfully passing the competency exam, the 16-hour classroom course, and an 80-hour orientation program you would promote into a Nurse Aide position. Work Schedule and Additional Information:- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
- Work hours include a rotating schedule: full time from 11:00 am-7:30 pm, work every other weekend. Before classroom setting, hours are 8:00 am-4:30 pm; upon completion of schooling, you will be placed on shift of need from Nursing Department either 1st shift (6:45 am-3:15 pm work every other weekend) or (2nd shift 2:45 pm-11:15 pm work every other weekend); or 3rd shift (10:45 pm-7:15 am work every other weekend), with 30-minute lunch.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- Willing and able to work in Erie, Erie County Pennsylvania
- Willing and able to work 2nd shift, rotating days and weekends

- Work experience caring for geriatric or physically ill individuals
- At least 18 years of age
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A conditional offer of employment may require satisfactory completion of a medical examination and drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
